Do I need Band 1, Band 2 or Band 3 transmitter?
The W-1KU Series systems operate in the UHF range using one of three banks containing 1000 channels:
Band 1: 672.0-696.9MHz - A “Band 1” transmitter can only work with a “Band 1” receiver
Band 2: 795.0-819.9MHz - A “Band 2” transmitter can only work with a “Band 2” receiver
Band 3: 520.0-544.9MHz - A “Band 3” transmitter can only work with a “Band 3” receiver
Here is how to determine the operating band of a system component:
A W-1KU receiver can either be Band 1, Band 2 or Band 3. To find out which band you need, simply check the label on the receiver’s back panel.
From the Microphone Transmitter (HT): Unscrew the battery cap to uncover a silver sticker indicating which band it operates on.
From the Bodypack Transmitter (LT or GT): Open the battery compartment to uncover a silver sticker indicating which band it operates on.
